For the last day of submissions, can you guys please tone down the fun aspect (it should be subtle, not in your face) - the priority is to inspire confidence in the brand, so can we try something more upscale/elegant? We are targeting mostly 5-star resort hotels, so the environment is quite luxurious and a bit corporate (although I'd like to stand out a little bit, but without being too loud / young, as I'm not selling directly to kids nor families). Thanks for all your efforts and your time.
UPDATE: Could you guys please forget about the 4fun text for the time being and instead focus on a stand-alone logo/symbol/image/pattern/shape/whatever you want, which symbolizes fun? The priority is still to look sharp/minimal/professional/design though, as I'm not selling directly to kids, but convincing an older crowd (hotel GM's) to buy children equipment for their hotels, so although I would like to convey that we provide fun, it needs to remain elegant and inspire trust. Please kindly come up with your own ideas/concepts to express this.
I like the minimal style and simplicity of the Roger Federer RF logo, and how the F is intertwined with the R. Perhaps something along those lines with the 4 and the F from 4Fun? (Doesn't need to be exactly that, just for inspiration. Should be maybe a little bit more funny/playful and approachable than RF, but still highly professional). Would be great if it could bring a bit of a smile like the Purple Cow or Spot Ninja from the examples I liked, but I would like it to retain a bit more elegance/prestige than those.
Doesn't necessarily need a mascot (eg. Purple Cow or Spot Ninja, but maybe?), if you decide to incorporate some kind of image/character/reference to the meaning of Fun in the logo (Eg. a polar bear in a logo for an air con/cooling company - can be anything, doesn't have to be an animal), please keep it highly professional rather than too cartoony, as this is a high-end product business which targets luxury 5 star hotels/schools, and the decision makers will be 50+ year old GM's who want professional/elegant/design brands.
I'm debating whether to have 4F as the logo or the whole 4Fun. I'm leaning 4Fun because the company is just starting and nobody will know what 4F means, but I think 4F will be the cleaner/minimal look that I like. Maybe the logo can be a standalone 4 and then we can add the fun as text as needed (eg. Nike swoosh logo with/without the text versions)? But it can also be 4F and then we tag on the u and n letters, or even something totally different/out of the box, as long as it's professional looking whilst lively/fun without being childish. Please keep in mind my company's target market (general managers / decision makers, rather than parents/children).
I like the colors blue and yellow but am open to other suggestions, gradients of those colors are completely up to you. Red might also be worth considering as we are a retail/reseller business, and I understand Red is normally the industry standard, but Blue/yellow to communicate trustworthyness+sunshine might be good too.
Open to your design choices/expert suggestions please. Thanks in advance for participating!
