We take dogs from city shelters who need a vacay from that environment. We have a large property in the country and we provide laid back housing, training, and overall just a smaller family for them. The goal is by giving these dogs a break and helping them regain their sanity they will be able to be adopted. We are located in PA and partner with shelters in NYC. We also provide fospice and end of life care for those dogs who won't make it past the shelter. The story starts 15yrs ago with my first dog Angel, I had no idea what i was getting into when i adopted an abused dog. I learned everything through her and it took years of training for both of us to come out on the other side. She was my baby and best friend. She went from being a dangerous animal that was going to kill someone to being the sweetest, smartest dog. This nonprofit is in her memory and shows what patience, training and kindness can do. The organizations I work with pull dogs locally as well as from Iran, the Korean meat trade, Dead Dog Beach in Puerto Rico, etc. These animals have all been abused and neglected, but with the right care they can learn to trust again. I've worked with dogs who have been beaten, starved, shot, burned, skinned, dragged behind cars, etc. Animals are amazing.

I would like to somehow include Angel in the design. One of Angel's favorite things to do was to be outside lying in her daisy bush. There are some pictures attached. I'm not set that daisies have to be part of the logo, but its a thought. I would like it to have a natural or organic feel to it since this is about allowing dogs to be in the country and have space. Also looking for someone who can help with me website design, etc after this initial process.
