hlee0019f got their new book cover by running a design contest:
Minimalist Attention Grabber
Check out hlee0019f's Book cover contest…
Teens to Adult
I'd like a minimalist look. One white background, one black background, one yellow and black and orange and black. The silhouette image or illustration of a person, should have the same squiggles coming from their head as in the suggested images. One option is to add the words in no particular order such as intrusive, repetitive thoughts, anxiety, spiraling out of control, social anxiety, what ifs, self-predicting outcomes. One word can be used multiple times or one word can be repeated over and over. These words are to be projected from person's head. Make sure to have plenty of space for Title and Subtitle. No words should be obstructed. Please be creative and unique. thanks!
What to avoid
Use the included images as inspiration Only. The included images are not permissible to use. Do not use a real person's image. Use a silhouette (preferred) or illustration. The colors yellow and orange should be bright not dull.

And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
