Step 1: download the email templates
After you download the zipped up folder, save it to your work area. After you unzip the folder, you’ll see it contains three folders: 01, 02 and 03.
Step 2: pick your favorite
Inside each folder, there are the three types of email templates (newsletter, promotional and personal notification). And inside each of those you have your color schemes: blue, green, orange, red and violet. You can review each to see which style and color scheme you prefer by opening the HTML file.
Each HTML email template is already completely laid out with sample text (which you’ll edit in step 3). If you want to edit the look of the emails, that’s no problem, but you should be comfortable with image editing software like Photoshop, and have some familiarity with HTML. As they are, these templates are compatible with all major marketing automation programs.
Step 3: upload the templates
Most email marketing automation tools—like Mailchimp—will have directions that make it easy to upload the templates. You can then use that program’s editor to customize the messages, upload your logo, add relevant images and link to your website.
Then just pair your email template with the correct email list and schedule your email campaign. If you don’t have marketing automation tools, you can do it all through Gmail by following these steps. It’s a bit more complicated, but the entire process is free for up to 50 emails per day, as long as you have a recipient list already built.
